My name is Mrs. Janet Roth. This is my 5th year teaching fifth grade. I worked here at Forest Park for several years before that in the Title 1 department. Before that, I substitute taught in several buildings in the district. I have been married for almost 30 years and have two grown sons. There names are Danny and Chris and they are 25 and 21. Danny is a Doctor of Pharmacy and is completing a clinical residency program at a hospital in Springfield. Chris is a senior at University of Central Missouri majoring in Automotive Technology Management. He really likes that degree because he gets to take classes and work on cars. We have three cats. The oldest cat is a girl named Roxie. The two younger ones are brothers and they are named Harley and Chopper. I love teaching and being in the classroom. I feel like I learn from my students everyday. When I am not at school or completing schoolwork, I love to spend time with my family, read, work with my flowers, workout, and when time and funds allow, travel. I look forward to the coming weeks and the chance to get to know each of you even better.
